Congratulations, Message from the Vice-chancellor for Treatment and Rehabilitation on the Birth Anniversary of Lady Zeinab (peace be upon her) and Nurses Day
The Chancellery of Treatment and Rehabilitation of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Zeinab (peace be upon her) and Nurses Day, issued a message congratulating all colleagues and dear nurses in the university’s affiliated hospitals and clinics.
According to the university’s news agency, the text of Dr. Mohammadreza Khodai’s message is as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said: Whoever tends to a patient for one day and night, God will raise him with Ibrahim, the Friend.
The fifth of Jumada al-Awwal marks the blessed birth anniversary of Lady Zeinab (peace be upon her). It is a precious opportunity to extend congratulations to the women and men in white coats who, for years, have alleviated the pain and illness of the people of Iran without any reward. Nurses, in addition to dedicating their physical strength, give life, vitality, and the spirit of living to patients through their morale, ethics, and emotions. As guardians of the nation’s health, they have managed, with patience and endurance through hardships that can only be sustained by spiritual motivation, to leave a commendable name in the history of this country, alongside their fellow health workers. Certainly, the people and future generations will take pride in the champions of the health sector and be grateful to the families of the steadfast health defenders, especially the caregivers. Truly, their reward from Almighty God is their due.
On this occasion, I extend my congratulations to all hardworking nurses, especially the diligent nurses of the university and the affiliated treatment centers, for the blessed birth of the exemplary symbol of patience and resilience, Lady Zeinab (peace be upon her), and for Nurses Day. I wish you, dear colleagues, God's health and success.
Dr. Mohammadreza Khodai Ardakani
Vice-Chancellor for Treatment and Rehabilitation of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences
